Hey guys,

I need advice with study plan.

I finished Kaplan, UW (twice) banks, UWSA 1,2, couple NBME forms.
Last result is 263 (UWSA 2), I felt that it overestimated me and next day did NBME form 5 (offline) - 87-88% correct which correlates with 244 or smth. I'm not aiming to 270, but I want to break 260 on real thing. Haven't yet set up test date, planning to take it in late 20s of June. So I have almost a month.

I want to do 2-3 passes of FA with reviewing of Goljan selected chapters or his HY notes, take more NBME forms after each pass. Also thought to do again Kaplan qbank (as many qs as I'll be able to) or UW, but I wonder if that would help me or make sense.

How would you advice to boost score on 15 points within a month? is it doable?

Thanks!

Did NBME 11 - 560/235. I'm officially upset...🙁

I have 3 weeks till the test day and I want to optimize studying these last weeks.
So, it seems like my UW and Kaplan averages, UWSA don't correlate much with my current NBME score, which is sad.
I have several options in my head:

1. Make a list of my weak topics according to test results and study them all over again, take another NBME form. Then again: weak topics - cramming - NBME, and so on till exam..
+: I can find out and improve my weak topics
-: can I rely on NBME performance profile? I mean I know what topics I should study harder, but somehow they came with the highest performance, and those things that I thought I know well came as average. So I don't see that it strongly reflects my weak topics.

2. Do Taus method: 100 questions (for example: 1 kaplan, 1 UW block) everyday with reading of explanations, them cramming of material according to set schedule.
+: I can cover all topics in 10-12 days prior to exam date, so it would be fresh in my head, plus everyday practicing of questions with qbank.
-: Would it worth to focus on things that I already know well? Or better spend more time with problem topics?

3. Make another Kaplan pass..take 2 simulation exams..well, I don't know..read FA again.

4. Any ideas...?

My problem is that I need a system for studying, effective schedule. I have only 3 weeks and I can't come up with something good for these last weeks. I know that no one except me knows my weak topics and so on, but still I would really appreciate your help and advices!

Thank you!

I don't know about you, but I learn better from questions. It seems you have exhausted your question sources :-/ I have no experience with USMLERx, but maybe it'd be something to consider? I don't get the point of doing any entire qbank more than once because you may end up remembering the specific questions more than thinking about the topics...

If it helps, here's how my final weeks have been going: I've finished UWorld and Kaplan, and before test day I'll only do the UWorld questions I got wrong (more for the refresher of reading the answer explanations). Do the free 150, offline NBMEs, any questions I can. Rapid fire pass through FA alongside these questions.
