hello everyone my stats r 86/3.10/104......i know they r just ok...m very confused rite now, where should i go from here...i mean whether i should retake part 1 or start preparing for part 2 and appear somewhere in june....guys which one vl be a better option...please guide me through this, any advise vl be appreciated alot....

Aligners my advice for you is just go for part 2.Important thing you should consider is working as an observer or dental assistantatleast 0nce or twice a week and getting a good recommendation letter.
As far as part 1 that score is ok.Many people with 85 score got into NYUCD .

if u think u got this score after studying only few months and u can still improve your preparations, then retake part 1. it will not take too long and u can easily make it by june. if u get atleast aroung 89, it will increase your chances at many schools. as such most of the schools consider part 1 score ONLY ( lilke, UOP, NYU and many more never look at your part 2 score even if it is good).
if u think, u had done your best and got 86, and u cannot work any hrder than this, forget part 1. 86 is not that bad. as others have said, go for part 2. but be careful: part 2 syllabus is very lengthy. u will not afford to waste a sigle minute of your day right from today if u want to appear in june. u may join some clinic only after u finish yr exam. then u can apply to LLU, UPitt, USC, UMDNJ and Temple(it has very high part 1 req). many of these schools dont stress much on experience as they have their own practical exam to test our skills.
so plan out n start today. all the best!
