Hi,
I like reading your forums from time to time and learn many things, since I know that you are all wise & true in your advises.
In my country usmle applications are rare and in order to study for these exams, you have to order the necessary books from abroad.
I would like to buy second hand books, and favorite books announced in studentdoc.com., as a start !
Can you guys help me to decide about studying proper med. books as an IMG?
For ex. Do most med students read ??principles of medical biochemistry ? Gerhard Meisenberg, William H. Simmons?? and / or ??textbook of biochemistry with clinical correlations ?Devlin?? ? Are they necessary for a very good score in usmle???
Moore for anatomy ??? When do you refer to these textbooks ?
Thank you very much for your guidence.

Few people review out of textbooks in the weeks leading up to the exam. Texts like Devlin and Moore are usually used when learning the material for the first time. The first place you should start is by obtaining a copy of "First Aid for the USMLE Step 1" and looking at the section on review materials.
