Hey I am A pre-Dent student that is Just finishing up O-Chem 1. I have Crohns disease and went through some rough semesters prior to the current semester which resulted in getting a lower overall G.P.A. My G.P.A is around a 3.2 and hopefully going up at the end of this semester. I am going to take the DAT in the summer and hopefully apply to dental school. I am 21 and I don't think that I am too far behind in school! I have finally been able to get my Crohns in remmission. Now I work for william Christensen and can get a good letter of recommendation from him and also can get a good letter from his dad Gordon Christensen. I need advice on if I stand a chance of getting into dental school this fall with this G.P.A! I dont yet have a bachelors degree but could finish it up by next summer! Any suggestions help!!! Thanks

3.2 is a solid GPA. There are people on here who are not afflicted with anything who have lower GPA. Continue doing well. I think people will note your determination. The plus of having to go through (not that I wish anybody to get struck down by any disease) is that it is a character building experience. 👍 Keep it up. Eventually you will be rewarded.

Oh a kick butt on the DAT. A strong DAT with that GPA will boost your chances.
