Need DAT Retake Help!

So I took the DAT in June of 2013 after studying for four months with Kaplan. I bought the Kaplan DAT Advantage Anywhere course (around $1400) and it was a complete waste of money. Here are my scores:

Bio: 15
GC: 15
Orgo: 17
QR: 16
PAT: 21
Reading: 21

Yeah, pretty terrible. As you can see, I need to retake it. I think my main problem was that I only used Kaplan, and the material was not anywhere near relevant. To be honest, I didn't even study for RC at all, and PAT I only took a few practice tests.

I ended up buying the DAT Destroyer, with the Math Destroyer, Chad's Videos/Quizzes, and Crack DAT PAT. I also downloaded Feralis' notes and Alan's notes. I am just looking for some guidance here. Does anybody have any suggestions as to a study schedule that worked for them? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks everyone! 🙂

Do not be discouraged!! Everyone has bad days. It's how we go from those days that determines our character and our future, and with a bit more studying, you can get there easily!

The new books that you recieved will be very helpful. I myself used the DAT destroyer, along with other books such as Kaplan's DAT review and Cliff's AP Bio. I would highly recommend getting that book to review the biology portion as well, as it has plenty of review problems you can go over.

As for a study schedule, take it a day at a time and don't try to over work yourself. What I did was to read and review a chapter of each Bio, Chem, and OChem a day, highlighting and really delving into the chapter. Along with that, I would go over about 20 questions of each subject in the DAT destroyer each day, carefully going through the explanations, making sure I didn't just understand what the answer was, but WHY it was the answer. So did you just now decide to buy the Destroyer/Chads videos or were those part of your original studying?

Yeah, I bought the new materials after I already took the DAT. I only used the Kaplan course before.
