NOTE: I couldn't find an explanation in Chad's vids. Thanks in advance, I wish this forum had the rep feature and I'd give all I could to those who add a response:

If y = (x+2)/(x-3), then which of the following represents x?

A. (3y + 2)/(y - 1)

B. (3y + 2)/👍

C. (3y - 2)/(y + 1)

D. (5y)/(y + 1)

E. (3y - 2)/(y - 1)

Hey alright so this is my advice when ever you get a problem you don't know.

1: write everything down
2: try to work it out on paper. Doing in your head can be difficult

So

y=(x+2)/(x-3)....lts move denominator to the y

y(x-3)=(x+2).... now lets move the x to one side

yx-3y-x=2......lets move that 3y back to the side

yx-x=3y+2.....lets factor out that x

x(y-1)=3y+2.....lets just solve for x

x=(3y+2)/(y-1)....Its A

My other last bit of advice. Plug in numbers and see what you get. It can help you solve complex problems
