Kaplan Average: 34.5 (Difficult exams / Generous Curve)
TPR Average: 30.1 (Difficult exams/ Difficult curves)
AAMC Average: 32 (Medium exams: Difficult curves)

Could I assume that my Real MCAT will be 32 +/- 2?

You can't *assume* anything with the MCAT, tbh. However, yes, most people suggest that your real score fall somewhere between +/- two points from your AAMC average. What were your scores on AAMC 10 and 11? Those two are considered the most realistic.

I agree with the inability to predict, but I do believe in statistical correlation. There's never any certainty, but I do feel that past performance has some correlating power for future tests. 12/10/10 on AAMC 10. I'll be taking AAMC 11 next monday. Having done so many TPR/Kaplan exams...I honestly feel like AAMC 11 will be a breeze. Especially TPR, that stuff is so hard lol. The curves are so viscious too.

if it includes aamc 10/11 I would think so

I think the MCAT is really stressful cause most students taking it strive for perfection. Not a bad attitude to have...but can sometimes be unrealistic. I know my verbal score caps at a 10. I know if the heavens open their gates, the stars align, and champagne pours from the sky, I'll only ever get a 10. More realistically, I can definitely score a 9. Is that a great score? No. But taken in consideration with 11/12s in sciences, that will suffice. I hate to say that, but it's true. It will suffice and I'll probably get into a med school somewhere. Blah, sick of studying hahah. I'll stop ranting on here.

Oh man, I know. I'm pretty sure everyone agrees that their physical sciences section is harder and I find verbal on the AAMC seriously awesome after TPR, lol.

👍 My thoughts exactly. Lol, relates to the "Just give me a 30" thread on here, 😛.

Yes I studied the posts of other 20 other students based on their aamc and plotted it on excel. There was a student who got +4 higher on the real thing. But +/- 2 is an excellent assumption.

Excellent. I was really sleepy today and pulled a 34 on Kaplan. I'm unsure what to make of it cause I know they have very generous curves. One of the reasons I decided to take this practice test exhausted was to know my worst case scenario. At this point, I'd be happy with anything above 30, but it's reassuring to know that I am averaging 32. Has anyone tried this strategy of taking practice exams sick/super sleepy/drunk?
