Hi everyone. I used search function regarding this but was not able to find any hence the reason of this thread. Also, looked at the ADEA's GPA calculation PDF but still it

was not clear enough for me.

I attended Canadian university and my school use a credit system where each course is 1 credit regardless of having lab or tutorial.

I took 5 courses every semester from 1st year to 4th year so I have 5 credits each semester according to our school's system.

So how would this credit transfer to AADSAS's credit system? I read that it works by credit per weekly hour system. So if I took a 1 semester class with 3 hours of lecture

AND 3 hours of labs every week? Than it would be 6 credit according to AADSAS?

Also are labs and tutorials both considered as 1 credit per weekely hour?

Looking forward to hear from you guys soon 🙂

No, in our system(canadian) labs and lectures count as one class , so you will have to put it as 3 credits for each course; doesn't matter if it has labs or not ! (6 credits= 2 classes and so on)

You need to db check because your understanding might be off. ADSAS should have no problem with your Can transcript.

Thanks guys but I still do not get it 100%.

If I understood this correctly, I should list each semester course (which is 1 credit according to my

school) for 3 credits in AADSAS system right?
