Hello,

I will be starting school at University of Detroit Mercy this July. I do not know the area at all (I just know that Detroit is not the place to live). Can someone recommend a town/country where I should be looking for a place to live. Please advise. Also, how much should I expect to be spending on rent/mo for a 2 bedroom (I'm just looking for ballpark figures)?

Thank You,

Serge

P.S. It would be preferable that my commute is no more than 30 minutes driving.

Hey I live 5 minutes, driving distance from UDM facility and my condo is up for rent. Not sure if you'll be interested but if you are let me know.

But it's a 1 bedroom, not two. However, it's fairly big with 2 bathrooms and own washer and drier. It's all re-furnished also. It's running around $1100 with everything included except the internet, cable TV is included. If you want to see some photos you can go to www.theparkshelton.com

PM me if you are interested.
