Hi everyone, I will like to consult u guys about the following statement

First and second part of duodenum wall thickened and enhancing carrying obliteration of ampulla of Vater causing pancreatic duct dilatation.

I don't understand the meaning of "enhancing carrying obliteration of ampulla of Vater". Can anyone explain it to me? Thank you ^^

"carrying" seems like a typo, more likely "causing"....enhancing/wall thickening makes me think infectious/inflammatory duodenitis, could also see this type of reactive changes in acute pancreatitis...in the setting of chronic pancreatitis could also see stricturing within the ampulla. Less likely neoplastic etiology
