gys pls help with these questions...
1 .In a histologic section through the epiphesial plate of the femur of an 18 yr old man, which of the folowing is the zone in whuch cartilage lacunea appear swollen and the chondrocyte large??
a.proliferation
b.bone resorption
c.reserve cartilage
d. hypertrophy and maturation.

2. in erythropoiesis which of the folowin increase from the proerythrobalst
to the mature erythrocyte????
a.cell size
b.phagocytic ability
c.cytoplasmic acidophilia
d cytoplasmic basophilia.

3. Initially,,the developing heart is:
a.induced by a notochord
b.positioned posterior to notochord
c.postioned anterior to notochord
d.between the prochordal plate and the notochord...

quest 1 :: is it a
quest 2 : is it c
quest 3 : is it b

pls correct me if iam wrong pls....waitin 4 reply thanks

gudluk can u explain me the answers
can u confirm the answer for second question

The answer for (2) is (C). During the maturation of RBC, you have cell size decrease, Chromatin gets clumped, and cytoplasmic color gets lighter from blue to pink (sign of acidophilia).

Each increases the systemic bld pressure except one?
a)increse renin
b)angiotensin
c)atherosclerosis of renal artery
d)inc venous peripheral resistance(ans)
e)pheochrompcytoma

it decreases when blood pressure is increases..all others increase blood pressure.

1. where do you find parakeratinization
a) dorsum of tongue
b) floor of mouth
c) ventral of tongue
d) attached gingiva

keratinization/parakeratinization is seen mostly in attached gingiva.

keratinization also seen in dorsum of tongue...but i thik if we have to pick it shud be attached gingiva...

just wanted to correct this one....(given in decks)

2. What part of palate is adipose tissue located?anterolateral zone

posterolateral zone contains glands, anterolateral contains adipose tissue

3. Which fungi is found in RES?Histoplasma(as resemble tuberculosis{related to monocytes/macrophage})
again given in the decks

4. What is the primary infection for Blastamycosis found?lungs

Histoplasma,blastomycosis both affect lungs

5. The direction of enamel rod in children.they converge oclussally in the end, for adults they converge apically

6. in an ideal intercuspal relation, the mandible makes a left
latertrusive mont, which cusp will be an interference for a fractured
lower distolingual cusp of a lower molar.
a) lingual of upper bucaal cusp
b) lingual of upperlingual cuspetc

didnt really ge tthe question if u cud just post the question again will try and help..

take care

Each increases the systemic bld pressure except one?
a)increse renin
b)angiotensin
c)atherosclerosis of renal artery
d)inc venous peripheral resistance
e)pheochrompcytoma

Increases peripheral resistance in veins means decreased return of blood to the heart, which will in turn result in lower cardiac output. Lower cardiac output will cause low blood pressure.
