need help getting international malpractice insurance coverage

I am currently a 2nd year medical student and earlier this year I applied for an international away elective at Hong Kong University Medical School for the month of November, 2006 and was recently accepted. The problem is my school will not cover me for malpractice insurance internationally. I will need to find coverage elsewhere. Do you have any suggestions?

virtually everywhere, but there is a cap on the $. Big difference.

Oooh...this is an interesting scenario! I wanna do an international rotation somewhere in the middle of Asia one day, too. How do you find the specific international elective locations? Is there a website? Do you contact embassys ( )?
