I want to do an international elective/volunteer clerkship between my m1 and m2 year. Unfortunately my school's international heath group is still up and coming so they are unable to provide me with information. I am very interested in going to India to either shadow or do more hand-on work (I dont know how possible this is for someone completing their first year). I wanted to know if anyone has done volunteer work in India and if they would have sites/groups/contacts that they could provide me with so that I could get started in trying to set this up. I know the summer is far away but I have a few specific cities in northern India, in the region of Utthar Pradesh, in which I am interested so I want to make sure I can hopefully get something set up if possible.
