I see the thread about Boston, NYU, Tufts, Temple do not take Pre-Reqs taken in community college. The responses there are in pretty old. Any new updates about the requirement???

I took all my Pre-Reqs in CC. Should I apply to those 4 schools???
oGPA 3.45
sGPA 3.65
AA/TS/PA 22/22/22, 17 in RC,
>1000 hours dental office experience

I lived in California before, just moved to Indiana. I think my residency is Indiana. My first choice is Indiana. Do I have a hope on that?

Looking for advice on which schools I should apply, and not to apply? I would like to stick in the east/mid region. Lots of Thankssssssssssss.

My current school list, Please HELP....

1. University of Illinois
2. Indiana
3. Iowa (they have only 2 Asian out of 80 🙁 Same problems on Louisville and Marquette, should I add these two schools? )
4. Maryland
5. Detroit Mercy
6. Creighton
7. North Carolina
8. Case Western
9. Virginia Commonwealth
10. Minnesota

11. NYU ( do these school accept CC credits?)
12. Tufts
13. Temple

New Schools

I called Tufts last week and they said they WILL accept cc work but you must take the same # of equivalent courses at university. Ex.gen chem.1/2 at cc, orgo 1/2 at university. There is a catch though. When they make their decisions, they will not value cc work as highly.

You have great stats! Definitely make sure that the schools that you apply to are OOS friendly. That's really important. As far as being asian, I don't think that should matter. 🙂

But all my Pre-Reqs are from CC, (both gChem and oChem) that means I should take Tufts off?
