Luckily I raised my score by a very large amount for my last NBME, however currently I'm stressed out because I have no idea how to do that again. I figured this time I would focus more on my weak areas as last time I tended to focus on my stronger areas and ignore my weaker areas (Pharmacology, Anatomy, Neurology).

Anatomy- missed 10 questions on all 4 NBME, clearly I'm not improving at all. And I have no idea how to go from here. What I have available is HY Anatomy, Kaplan LN, and FA. I haven't got a CT question right and I have been searching for a good website to learn from.

Neurology- Also had the same amount of questions missed every time. I tried memorizing FA but that did not work out well at all. I tried reading HY Neuroanatomy. But right now I know that my knowledge base is really lacking here.

Pharmacology- I figured I would just use Kaplan and Lange Flash cards. I'll probably focus on ANS, Micro, Neuro and Psychiatry.

QBANKS- I still have subscriptions to USMLERx and UWORLD (did 1.5x) which I want to do UW another 1.5x at least.

So yeah I have a ton of work to do and a little time (exam is in 4 weeks) but I have been so confused about how to proceed.

I would suggest to abandon lange/kaplan pharm because FA pharm was MORE than enough for me on the real test and on all the NBME's i had taken. Micro pharm (especially HIV, antiviral) and psych and neuro (seizure drugs and anesthetics are hy).

I would also abandon usmlerx and just focus on uworld. Try to focus on learning uworld and not necessarily finishing. Quality over quantity.

As far as neuroanatomy goes, i screen shot all the kaplan neuroanatomy (from their notes) and uworld and looked over the commonly tested areas such as pineal gland, mammallary bodies, substantia nigra, basal ganglia, thalamus, hypothalamus etc. Other than that i am not sure what else can you focus regarding neuro anatomy. Also i would look at the general image of the brain (FA has it) and know where are cerebral cortex and different area's and their function.

I think its important to focus on your wkness however, please do not neglect your strengthens because they can become your wkness if neglected for a long time.

Thanks for the advice, especially the bolded, as I really think that might be exactly what I need to do.

And I have been actually scared about focusing on my weak areas, pathology is a strength of mine and I feel like I have been ignoring these last few weeks. I'll probably wipe out Pathoma and spend 2-3 days watching videos.
