First of all, let me apologize if these questions have been answered already, but I haven't been able to find anything useful, and also for my bad english.
I'm from Romania, and here in the Middle East the universities are awful.. Anyway, in my country admissions are based on an entrance exam and big highschool grades whether you've studied Science or Humanities. So, I'm year 10 [from 12] in highschool and I'm studying Humanities.I have good grades [an average of 9 of 10]. I've decided that I'd like to go to the med school in Europe, Turkey or India.
Now, the question is, when I'll finish highschool should I go to a PRE-MED school or some kind of courses for Biology and Chemistry ?I'll have some classes in order to prepare for the exam but they don't give a diploma/certificate. I know that on the other continents like USA it's necessary to do it or go to a college . In UK they also ask for science background.. If we are talking about Europe I'm thinking about Spain( I have a diploma in Spanish language),Denmark or Sweden. I'm more into them because they are cheaper and still good.
On the universities's websites they don't mention the requirements very clearly so that's why I'm asking here.
Thanks in advance !!

Romania is in Eastern Europe.

I have no idea, but I'm glad you looked on the schools' websites. Since it's still not very clear to you, do you think you could contact someone at each school you're interested in? They may be able to explain the requirements better and perhaps also give you some personal recommendations.

I meant Middle Eastern Europe**
Excuse me for my mistake, but anyway that's not the ******* point in this thread.
I've sent e-mails for 3-5 of them but I haven't received any reply, so it's just a waste of time.

You might want to check out the General International Discussion section of the International Medical Forums. They are probably more likely to give you an answer.

I never heard that term before. Regardless, you may be asking in the wrong place. Vast majority of people here are either Americans or Canadians or international students interested to come to the US medical school. We pretty much only know how American system works. For us high school doesn't matter at all. To be accepted here you will need to complete a 4 year bachelors degree with certain science courses. Full list can be found using google or AAMC website. Then everybody takes an MCAT (entrance exam) and applies to 4 year medical schools.

Ohh.. I'm new here, I haven't seen that ..
Thanks and excuse me for wasting your time !

Any way you would be interested in international schools for undergrad? Like maybe studying in the US for undergrad and then applying to med school? I'm wondering because you mentioned that you're not fond of universities over there.

Also, medical schools in different countries can be very different and their requirements may not all be the same. So med school in India may be totally different in application compared to other ones.

I'd be interested if I'd have that kind of money...
I'm very undecided of going to Spain or going to Ireland and have a foundation year and after stay there at med school.. Sweden and Denmark also sound interesting but I don't see my life there soooo...
