Okay I'm going into my senior year of undergrad this upcoming Fall. I was wondering if I should take the PCAT in October, as opposed to September. I'm already in the process to applying to two of my five potential schools because they do not require the PCAT. If I take the PCAT in October, do I set myself back even further?

Thank You

I would take it in September. That way, if you don't do as well as you expect, you have more opportunities to improve your score. The first time that I took the PCAT was in my Sophomore year. It was my "practice" PCAT🙂 I learned several things from that. First, bring a snack and a drink with you. Second, I didn't sleep a wink the night before because I was so nervous. The next time around, I was much more relaxed and could sleep ahead of time🙂 Third, the testing center was VERY crowded, so get there early. I hope this helps. Good luck on the PCAT!
