I'm currently warming up on my high school math skills and I find out I'm having trouble solving these math problems:arghh:

8) Find the x- and y- intercepts of y=-3x+2
10)Find the slope and y-intercept of the line 3x-7y=42
14)write an equation of the line given slope and y-intercept. Express answer in slope-intercept form
slope=-2; y-intercept=-4

yeah I totally forgot how to work these out.....😳

8) Plug in zero for x and solve for y intercept. so when x=0 y= 2. Plug in zero for y and solve for x to find the x intercept. so x = 2/3.
10) Isolate y so subtract 3x from both sides and divide by -7. y = (-42/7 + 3/7x). Your slope is 3/7 and y intercept would be -42/7.
14) The standard slope equation is y=mx + b. m is slope and b is the y intercept. So plug in what is given to you and you will receive y = -2x - 4

arent we suppose to simplify -42/7 to -6?
