Hi everyone
This question is for students/grad of the puerto rico optometry school. i appreciate anything u can help me with.
I have tons of questions about the PR school. First of all, I have intermediate knowledge of Spanish and am currently trying to become fluent but is it really hard if your spanish isn't perfect? Do you have to interview on campus for admission? Is the school accredited enough to get good recidencies and practice in the US mainland.
It was my dream to study abroad during undergrad in spanish speaking courntry, i feel like this is a second chance to achieve that dream. Here are my stats: Undergrad BA psychology GPA 2.18 (Had a terrible thing happen to me, which I mean to submit with my application) 2 years of additional undergrad science courses GPA 3.5. Second OAT scores: AA:300, TS:320, B:310, GC:320, OC:330, RC:300, P:300, QR:260 (first oat was 310 and i have done well in both calc classes). Please let me know what my chances are of getting in with these stats and decent knowledge of spanish. what was your experience like? I appreciate any feedback from you. Thank you in advance.

i think if u get an interview the numbers wont play a big factor. You have to meet like a min req in their perspective for you to obtain an interview. You should have a good chance of getting one.

I read somewhere that once invited, you have the option of interview in person, or over the phone.
