3.1 cGPA, 3.2 sGPA undergrad
3.5 Georgetown SMP
34 MCAT
EC's: one year research lab, 2 years physical therapy aide, shadowing, etc.
California resident
I'm interested mainly in primary care
First time applying D.O. I will also be applying MD (second time), and was aiming for something like ~25 MD apps and ~10 DO apps. List so far:
A.T. Still University - School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona
Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University
Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University
New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine–California
Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine
Western University of Health Sciences/College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific
Western University of Health Sciences/College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific Northwest
I pretty much made this list based solely on where I'd want to live, but I'm not sure exactly how picky I can be. Is there anything wrong with this list? Are there any DO schools that are particularly above the rest in terms of faculty/opportunity/etc? I have a DO letter as well.
