I am a MS3 who is on a rotation that requires all students to present and I will be presenting on a research article this Thursday. I thought it would help me if I could at least solidify a basic understanding of statistics. Do you guys know any good texts or websites for a quick review of statistics commonly employed in clinical research?

Statistics is not my strong suit; I never bothered to really learn it all that well.

Are you thinking like the definition of "mean"?... or more like interpretation of ROC curves/Kaplan-Meier/etc?

put a bunch of numbers down. for the things you're really sure about and that seem legit put p<0.001, for things that are pretty damn legit but a little less make up a value of p < 0.05 and report that. For the crap that made no sense, put a random p value between 0.1 and .99

Believe it or not, Goljan RR Pathology has a pretty good review of statistics. It is either at the beginning or the end of the book if you happen to have a copy. If that is not indepth enough I would just try some youtube videos.
