Hi everyone,

I am preparing for an interview at VCU and am hoping to get some feedback on what to expect. Is there anything important I should be ready for? What is the essay?--Any other advice would be great.

just look through the interview feedback forum for VCU and you'll do fine. The essay is simple, some question about ethics, probably to make sure you can effectively communicate in writing (think chartnotes)

Hey... if you go to the tab on the top of the page that says 'Interviews' they have good info there on each school individually. I left a post with a lot of information on it and so did a lot of others. It's easier than typing it over all here anyway and more organized. It is pretty laid back. You will meet with 2 interviewers right away. By 9:30 AM, both interviews and the essay are over. The essay is just an ethical question. Mine was about seeing a friends medical chart, another persons was about seeing someone cheating on a test. As long as you have morals and can express that on paper, you will do fine 😉 They let you know that it isn't a judge of composition, they just want to get a feel of how you would react. Best of luck to you. Hope we can be classmates!

my essay asked what would you do if your roommate asked for your ideas on an assignment in a class where the teacher said you can't work with anyone...basic ethics...also know that during lunch with the 4th year students they are judging you and report back to admissions...so be on your best behavior haha good luck😀
