Need Help Wvsom

I got an email from WVSOM saying that they recieved my information and if I got an interview then they would contact me via email. The email contained my ID and PIN. Okay, so I log onto my account and it says:
Applicant Status

Welcome medmom

In Process - Decision Pending

You have been granted an Interview:
Supplemental Application, etc......

Interview Information:

Your interview is scheduled for:
Date: 09/18/2006
Start Time: 10:15 AM
End Time: 4:30 PM


So, I never got an email with an invitation, but then my account has me scheduled for an interview. It is past their business hours so I can't call. Does this mean I did indeed get an interview?? I hope so! Also where do you fly into for Lewisburg??

I'd say that you can be pretty sure that it means you have an interview. Call the admissions office as soon as possible, but if I were you I'd be ecstatic 🙂

I got the same thing! Did you get in touch with them? I can't believe it if it is really true....let me know what you hear!!!!!

You should get another email inviting you for an interview. Thats what happened to me a day later.

I didn't get ahold of them. I called but the office was already closed. AAAAH the suspense is killing me!

i would venture to guess your totally right.

its probably like some kind of "possible applicant interview pool" that we are in...not quite rejected, definetly not accepted.

You can fly into Lewisburg directly. It's a TINY airport; the same person who checks your bags in also does the security screening and then helps you to the plane.

Alternatively you can fly into Roanoke, VA or Charleston, WV and rent a car.

However, I dont know how you'd get from the airport in Lewisburg to where ever your staying (and I HIGHLY recomend staying at the General Lewis Inn).

When were you complete with aacomas? I want to know approx. when I will receive the wvsom secondary/interview.

oh good. Your app was mailed earlier than mine. I guess I can expect mine in 2 weeks or so then. Hopefully. I have four schools that haven't sent me secondaries yet.

hey...I called WVSOM to ask them what exactly "decision deferred" means and they told me that the status page may display decision deferred while your application is being reviewed and the decision has not been made yet. Hope that helps.
