So, I met this Pharmacy director... and he found out that I want to be in a pharmacy field. He said I can come in for rotation whenever I get accepted to a pharmacy school. I have a question. If I decide to go to an out of state pharmacy school, will I be able to come back my home state to do rotation or internship? Anyone experienced that before? Thankss

I have never experienced a situation like this before, but usually you do a rotation or internship with the pharmacy school that you get accepted to.. Unless you have close ties with this pharmacy director and just want to go back to your home town to do a rotation, then I would just try to network with some of the affiliated pharmacies in the home town of your pharmacy school..

Yes and yes. We have interns from our pharmacy that go to school OOS. As long as he's okay with it and it's not too difficult for you to travel the distance, then it shouldn't be a problem... At least that's what I've observed.

Thanks guys! 🙂 I'm sure he's ok, he repeated it for a couple of times. I wanted to stay in-state but only applied to 1 school for now. So I'm worries I wont get in my in-state school.

yes you can do it. actually a lot of students do rotation out of state.

Thanks! its good to know, so I can feel more secure if I have to go OOS 🙂
