Iam a dentist and planning to undergo Wavefront Lasik surgery. I rather skeptical about this. How safe is this procedure ? Do I have to wait for better technology and techniques to happen ? How many of you would recommend this procedure ?

Considering the value of your vision to you in your occupation, I strongly recommend you get a full evaluation on second opinion before you proceed, one that includes examination by an ophthalmologist and enough chair time for a proper discussion (i.e., no "free evaluation" type exam).

I did meet 2 ophthalmologists, they did see the results of my scan while one of them sugggested that I wait for a 6 month period repeat the test and then go in for surgery while the other feels that I dnt have to wait .
