Hey guys,

I am new here and I just need an advice from anyone. I am contemplating whether to apply this summer or wait until next summer. I am not sure if I will be a strong candidate.

I am gonig to be a senior at Cal State Fullerton next semester. I have most of my pre-requiste finished. I just need biochem, physiology, and microbiology, which I will be taking in fall semester.
I was in a honor society called Alpha Gamma Sigma, and I was the secretary.
I have been working in Sav-on for three years (by the way, we are now owned by CVS).
I volunteer at a hospital pharmacy.
I am in a club called SHPA, which stands for Student Health Professional Associate.
My cumulative GPA is 3.65.

Should I apply this year? I don't know what I should do? I feel so discouraged...

Apply as soon as your meet the pre-requisites. Actually, you can start applying as long as you would be able to finish your pre-req's prior to admissions. Go for it! 🙂 Don't be discouraged.

Well, IMO it looks like you have no reason to wait! Worst case, you dont get in and you can still apply next year, but your stats/exp look good. 👍

ur GPA is competitive enough. don't wait. take the PCAT & apply.
and why discouraged? u haven't started it yet. 😕 😕
