I do not know when the best time to take the DAT is for my situation.

Here is the list of classes I have completed so far.
Intro to Zoology (close to intro to biology)-B
General Chemistry I-A
General Chemistry II-A
Physics I-A
Physics II-A
Organic Chemistry I-A

In the fall I will be taking.
Microbiology
Cell Biology
Organic Chemistry II

I do not know the best time to take the DAT. I was planning on spending my winter break (about 1 month long) studying for the test. However I want to take a prep class for the DAT. I do not know if I should try to study on my own and just take it at the end of my winter break or what.

I will be applying in May/June of 2011.

When do you guys think the best time to take the DAT would be.

Since you're applying next cycle, I think you should really take your time.
Finish your classes in Fall.
Take the prep course in winter.
Study on your own till early May 2011.
Take the test in early/mid May.

Your scores will be processed and ready for schools, by the time you e-submit your application in early June 2011.

Good luck👍

I was trying to take a class over winter break, but i cant find a place that offers a 1 month class.

I know my spring semester is going to be science intensive as well so i did not want to take a class during my semester.

I wanted to take the test after winter break because i would have just come off finishing ochem II and having 2 classes of biology so they will be fresh on my mind

thats why im confused
