Hey Eddiescott,
I had the same problem. I ended up taking the classroom course. Then, I realized that I couldn't take it any longer due to conflicts with my schedule and switched over to the online version. Let me tell you, it is very very similar to what you would get in the classroom version. The online version actually has a "teacher" who goes through a lesson with you as if you were in class listening. In fact, when I was in class the first day, it was the same exact stuff that was taught online. In my opinion, you are saving money by doing the online route and not comprimising quality at all. The reason I say that is because the teacher follows the book guideline or "your lesson book". It is hard for the teacher to deviate from the lesson book because it keeps him/her on track and on time. The only advantage to the classroom is you can ask direct questions to students and to the teacher. Also, I guess, it kind of makes you come to class. But, for me, I enjoy the online version. I study at my own pace and it works for me. Of course, all this is just my opinion and anyone is free to disagree.
