i'm in my final year of an honours degree in genetics, abroad. my college is very reputable internationally and i shouldn't have trouble getting into a medical school here or in england.
i'm an american citizen though, and i'm really interested in going to med school in the states!
the problem is...american medical schools virtually never take international applicants, and the prerequisites include a year of college level english and a year of college level physics. neither of these were included in my degree.
i know a post-bacc would cover the physics but would it cover the english classes?
i really think i'd need a post-bacc anyway, because my grades have taken some tumbles over the last couple of years. i'm aiming for a first class honours overall but i did fail a course in my second year.
