Hey guys,
Newbie here! I took the PCAT OCt 20 and need to retake it in Jan. Do you know anyone selliing their Kaplan class books?

I just took the October exam and I think I'm done. Whatever I get, I get. I have the Kaplan course books along with a million other prep books for sale but I warn you, the Kaplan course book is the same as the Kaplan book you buy at barnes and noble except that it has some extra sessions in Ochem, writing, more vocab, reading comprehension, about 60% is the same. I should know because I'm such a nerd that I even bought the store book even though I took the class. What you want to buy is the Kaplan Lesson Book, it's the book that you bring to class and they go over everything in it. It's the core material that's why they go over it. I did not like the Kaplan course at all, I thought it was a big waste of money. Kaplan should just sell the Lesson Book material because it's the essential stuff that is actually on the test. The problem with Kaplan is that you study all this extra crap that will never be on the test. The Lesson book I thought had the essentials that should be learned.

Much of the content is similar, but the Lesson Book is different from the Comprehensive book as the Lesson Book is intended for use for the classroom and web classes. A Kaplan student listens to a lecture and the book is set up for the student to follow along through lessons that the instructor will teach. The retail book is just one review source with none of those lessons.

I have lots of Kaplan class books. I just got accepted and do not really need it anymore. It helps me improve my PCAT score (29% 1st time, and after studying from the Kaplan book, I got 61% the 2nd time). Good luck!
