I'm currently writing my personal statement. If anyone able to help read and critic it, I'd be grateful. Please and thank you.

If I could piggyback on this note from Labrat07, I'm looking for a personal statement reader, too. I won't be applying until May/June, but I'd like to have it really solid so I can pack it away and focus on the here and now. As a prior matriculant, I would also ask the reader to look at the one-paragraph statement required for all applicants who had previously enrolled.

I am not an adcom and am a premed student (old crone at your service). However, I have submitted my application (and withdrawn it for this cycle) but will not change anything on my PS. Trying to let you know, you're safe with me (also, 10 years as an auditor for public companies - dang the stuff I know!!).

I just finished exams and I suddenly have a bunch of free time. I'll take a look. I'm a decent writer, had a stellar personal statement, and I edit my fiancee's articles all the time.
