I am currently a freshman and my advisor told me not to take gen chem 1 my first semester (which I wish I would've) and now I have to wait until the spring to take it. Should I try to get gen chem 2 done during the summer? would that be bad with a shortened time period? Or should I just wait until sophomore year first semester? Also what order should I take the following : Genetics, Cell bio, Microbiology. Thanks!

Take it during the regular semester and do other stuff during the summer to buff your ECs. Take cell bio first and the other 2 in any order (I'd do microbio next).

I left one out, what about Biochem?

Depends on what level biochem it is I guess. My school offers 2 levels of Biochem (a 200 and 400). Regardless take cell bio before any of those since it is a very introductory course. If I were you I would take Cell Bio -> Biochem -> Microbio -> genetics. I am not a bio major, but a biochem major hence the Biochem course earlier in the sequence. You really need cell for any of the other courses and biochem will probably help for micro and maybe genetics? I don't think it matters if you take micro or genetics after so just go by how your school normally does it or how you see fit.
