Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and could really use some help as I am kind of in uncharted territory. I am an US citizen who completed a degree in the UK and am trying to figure out what chance I stand, if any, at a DO medical school. Here is the synopsis:

Academic
2:1 Honors degree Biomedical Science (unfortunately, WES rates this as a 3.1 GPA)
4.0 Post-Bacc (40 credits)
Tutor in gen/o-chem
additional year of research after graduation in neurophysiology at well-known research institution, 1 publication
undergraduate thesis results given at international conference
MCAT- 80% overall (Phys/Chem 67%, Bio 87%, Crit 87%, Psych 75%)
6 LOR + committee letter - these are pretty solid as I was offered admission into a graduate program following graduation.

Shadowing
Over 150 hours in orthopedic and emergency surgery, primary care, emergency, and intensive care.

Extracurriculars
3 summers as a volunteer aid worker and team leader in Africa
society president at university

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all for your help!
