Im torn between applying for radiology or anesthesiology right now. I am seriously 50-50 between the two. I have struggled with this for past week now, but its time to decide. I like both very much and have made a pros vs cons list for myself. I was hoping that all you others out there can give me pros and cons of your own. I am hoping that you people have thought of things that i havent thought about... perhaps that can help me decide.

Since I matched anesthesia last year, I'll give you my pro anes list but I'm not bashing on rads here:
Anesthesia is more exciting.

More variety in your practice, instead of switching between CT and MRI, you get to go to L&D, the ICU if you like, do peds sedation on the floors, etc.

More physiology and you get to use cool drugs.

A variety of options when you're done, ie pain.

More patient contact, but not too much.

All things being equal, unless you are a rock star, you'll probably match at a better place for anesthesia than you could for radiology.
