Should I retake the DAT the third time?
First time I applied with the following DAT scores, I got 5 interviews but no acceptances. I am not a science major but have been taking science classes while working full time.
DAT 1
aa18
ts18
pat 15

DAT 2
aa 17
ts 18
pat 16

GPA 3.23
Science 3.3

My fear is not doing too well the thrid time. I finished all my prereqs. Should I go ahead and take graduate level classes? FYI-I am also a nontraditional student. not sure if that makes a difference. Anyway, you suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What schools are you applying to this time? How strong are the other parts of your application?

perhaps you should try calling the schools youre applying to and see what it is they recommend you do. Ask why you didnt accepted the first time? Fax them your scores now and see if you have shot for this cycle. You could even ask them if you should take the DAT again. i think this would be your best option since you will not have to speculate as to what it is you should or should not do.

You need to figure out a different way of studying. Maybe you are not putting enough time? Or maybe you need to take kaplan if you haven't. There's no point in taking it if you are going to study the same way you did before.

Good luck.
