First of all, this website is amazing!!! Thanks to all the people out there that are helping each other.

I'm in the process of writing the DAT and MCAT this summer. I was planning on studying FULL TIME for the DAT for about 1 month. I was thinking of buying the Kaplan DAT review book. Is this enough time? Do you have any other advice? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

And if this has already been discussed, I apologize in advance.

Seems to me that you're the only one who can really know that? How well do you study? How do you study? What kind of score do you want to see?

I for instance study and retain information very fast, but I want to see ridiculous scores on my DAT, so I started studying 3 weeks ago for my test in July...

well, im taking the dat in 18 days, and I've been studying since mid december, from 4-10 hrs/day, and I still think im not ready. I took kaplan course, Studied all their materials, topscore and achievers. I also purchased DAT professor but I havent started working on it yet.

for one month, I would recommend 8+ hours/day study, including topscore and achievers, kaplan blue book, kaplan practice tests, depending on your knowledge from what you learned in college, I would say you will do above average.

i agree with this guy...it all depends on how u did in college prereqs...i think if u made B's or A's in most of them you're fine to start studying now. and i wouldnt recommed summer classes
