need some advice

i have to take an english course to complete the pre reqs for all the dental schools ive applied to. now, the problem is, english is by far the worst course for me; i already have 5 courses lined up for next semester, and taking english as a 6th one would really make matters worse.
do you guys think I should contact dental schools and discuss my situation? it seems like its really late in the game. I'd rather drop the english and end up with a competitive gpa for canadian schools.
any advice would be appreciated.
