what are my chances of getting into neurology residency??

Please be honest??

😳😕

Fairly good if you are considering a middle tier residency. Doing research in Neuroscience will help you, but try attending Grand Rounds and other clinical conferences. If you get a paper or two, you will be in... and the question would be where. At this point, it is unlikely that you would get in a top 10 residency, but you might be able to do a fellowship in one of those programs.

There are many Neurology programs that take IMGs. You should not take longer than 3 years from the time that you last took care of patients and starting residency, unless your research time is very clinical.

Good luck!

Thank you Fencer for ur honest reply.
