Ok before I say anything, I want to say that everything I write in here in true (i.e I am not trolling). Also, I am honestly not sure how to proceed from here.
First of all, I have a perfect 4.0 GPA (currenty In my final year premed). Research wise, I have one first author publication. I have been to one international professional conference (along with a bunch of those informal university ones for undergrad students). I have also conducted research abroad at a prestigious institution (less than 3% acceptance rate for the program, I will mention that). All in all, I probably have spent a good 2.5 years in my four years of undergrad doing research.
I also have pretty strong ECs. President of my club. President of a organization I started for elementary school students. On the central committee for an international charity. Very strong music background (I have a degree in piano performance before I went to science). Performed in competitions/concerts nationally and internationally for I don' know how many times since I was born. Volutneer at three different hospitals. Shadowed with two doctors already.... the list goes on.
Here is the issue: I got my MCAT today. A 38R. It's a GREAT score hands down. However, it wasn't balanced: 15 for Physics, 9 for verbal, and 14 for Biological sciences (I am not lying here. If you want to see it I am happy to give you my user name and password. Check it out yourself). The 9 is due to a couple issues I had during the MCAT administration most likely for my average on verbal is typically a 10-11.
I really want to gun for some of the top schools. Will my MCAT score (unbalanced 38R, 15, 9, 14) hold me back?
By the way, I was an ESL student 4 years ago from Malasia. I speak perfect English without an accent right now. The past four years have been tough. I think that the R in essay writing says a lot about my English ability.
