I'm new to the forums/medical field. I am currently putting in applications left and right for retail pharmacy positions, but the fact that I am not certified is making things overly complicated. I live in the Cincinnati, OH area... and there are tons of Walgreens, CVS, Kmarts, and Krogers around. There are so many people that all of these places generally require certification. I, unfortunately am not able to attend school due to my finances. Possibly a few months down the road I could attend school, but I'd really like to get a head start... or just find a way around it 😛
I am currently trying to find out if there is a way I could find either a free program (online or other) or a list of resource books that I could study up on and go take my certification test. Does anyone here have any links/guides to what I could do to learn what I need to with out being in the field? I've heard of a few people that say they've studied enough to the point where they went and took their exam and passed for certification. Anyone, advice? I honestly would love to just drop a pretty penny on books or an online program that could teach me everything I need to, than spend 5-8 thousand on school.
