My MCAT is a 35R (11VR 13PS 11BS) and my gpa is a 3.69 with a pretty much upward trend after freshman year at a top undergrad school. I have some strong letter writers, extracurricular activities, and research in a major hospital. I have some unique things too like I am the president and founder of a nonprofit foundation in my state.

What kind of schools can I reasonably look at? Any little advice is much appreciated because I am actually a reapplicant and a bit paranoid. Thanks

What have you done since the last time you applied?

I got my EMT license, I became a deputy editor in chief of an online medical textbook (about 500 hours of unpaid internship), was a guest speaker at a medical device school graduation, I founded and am the president of a local chapter of a national foundation helping raise money to donate AEDs to public places, got my AHA teaching certification to be a CPR instructor, and I got a full time job working in a major cardiovascular research lab doing clinical research, and did a lot more physician shadowing.

I would start considering Caribbean or Israel schools

I don't understand what the issue is ... OK stats, ECs are off the charts. Straight shooter!

Last time I applied mcat was a 29Q (11ps 9vr 9bs). It just sucked getting turned down last time so there is just more paranoia this time around. I'm honestly not trying to be annoying by my post, just legit looking for outside opinions.

I think you have great chances at most schools! Just look on the MSAR data for schools that you fit in to! You've done a ton of stuff since last year so you will do well when they ask you what you have done since last time applying. No need to be paranoid, you'll do great 🙂
