Need some urgent advice about a transcript issue

Hey guys I need some advice. The transcript that I sent to AMCAS and that has been received doesnt have my AP credit I brought from high school listed even though my school did award me credit. Now my school is telling me there is a "different" type of official transcript that has the AP credit. My question is

1) what's the process if I have to send a new transcript and will it delay me beig able to submit my primary application?

2) Is it possible for me to just leave out the AP credit? I would do this but then the "credits earned" on my transcript won't match with what is on AMCAS

I'm really worried this will screw me up

Do you need the AP Credits to fulfill prereqs? If you do, you need them listed, so I don't really have any good suggestions for you aside from trying to get that new transcript sent ASAP.

If you don't need them, maybe you could ask AMCAS to just delete those course entries, which might be faster than sending a new transcript.

I don't need the AP for pre-reqs and I haven't even submitted my primary yet so I can just leave the AP credit out instead of waiting for the transcripts to reach. I'm just not sure if leaving them out would give me a problem since I'd have 13 extra credits not listed on the transcript but included in the credit count at the bottom.

If you have not even submitted your primary yet, just have the school send the other "special" transcript. It will be ther by the time you come up for verification.

You could also call AMCAS and tell them about it and ask what you should do. They may make a note in your file to clear up the confusion.

It is better to talk to AMCAS than it is to ask people on the Internet what to do. We are not in charge, they are.

well i knew that lol but just wanted to get some perspective on what you guys would do, i wanted to avoid having them have to make a note in my file because the confusion it could create but im going to call them and tell them since theres nothing much i can do.
