Ok so I'm a D.O. student that will be taking both the USMLE and COMLEX. My tests are in June. Right now I have USMLE-RX and Combank. Obviously I will be getting UWorld as well, but I need help in developing an approach. I've heard people say that UWorld is best left for the dedicated study time after classes. (I'll have about 6 weeks after classes are over in May.) Is this what most people do? I'm a little worried about leaving it for that late and then being blindsided by how hard the questions are. Either way my goal is to have a pretty good grasp of the material and get through First Aid once by the time classes are over. What would be a good way to go about this and how should I use these 3 question banks? Any help/advice would be appreciated guys.

You're right, a lot of students "save" uworld for closer to the real exam because they want to have as strong as a foundation as possible before starting it. I don't think you'll be blindsided by the difficulty if you can get through Rx and FA. I know it is the most difficult, but I don't think it is so difficult that you will feel lost with a strong background.

Other people have different strategies, but I plan on saving Uworld for dedicated study time, too. I don't think I should have any issue getting through it with lengthy reviews, and possibly a chance to go through twice.
