HI all,
As per the title, I have my Naplex scheduled for 7/26 and haven't started. I'm VERY worried. I've looked at some other threads but wanted some opinion.
1) I'm planning on doing notes roughly 100 pages per day and then go over the whole book again before the naplex.
2) using the SDN 120 calculations as well

Is this not enough? also, when reading rxprep, i'm not sure what to focus on..brand vs generic? dosing? there is so many numbers, MDD ect for dosing and so many brand/generic names. Some say to not focus on that, if not than, what should i focus on? guidelines?😕😕

Thank you so much and congrats to those who passed.

I went through rx prep 3 times in two weeks. The first time I read it through thoroughly, the second time I focused only on all the drug charts/tables and the third time I only focused on the bolded items. It was sufficient to pass and I didn't encounter anything that I hadn't seen in rx prep

I had 3 weeks for the Naplex exam. Went through the Rxprep book once and did the questions in the quizbank. Passed with 120.

DO you guys suggest learning dosage form? do you guys feel that the Rxprep math is enough to pass?

I can't remember having any dosage form questions. I think the math provided in rxprep was definitely enough for the questions I encountered on the naplex

Thanks for the reply. HOw was the brand and generic portion of it? I mean at our school, we barely learned brand names so i was wondering if there is anyquestions on what is lipitor or alot of questions which uses brand as part of a case

I would definitely recommend knowing the top 200 brand/generics. There were a few brand names on the exam that I've never heard of before.
