Hi guys! So I already assumed I wouldn't get into a few of the MD schools based on their secondary questions. I have no rural ties and didn't realize UCR was so inland empire selective, so I had to cut a few. Any recommendations on what schools I should add?

1. cGPA: 3.527
sGPA: 3.406

2. MCAT: 507 (128/123/128/128)

3. State of Residence: California

4. Ethnicity: Asian

5. Undergraduate institution: UC college

6. Clinical experience:
Volunteered at hospital for 150 hours

Worked in hematology clinical lab for a whole year (~400 hours)

7. Research experience:
Research aide at a lab researching environmental diseases (~90 hours)
Clinical Research Assistant at Pulmonary department for a whole school year (>500 hours)
Student assistant at clinical lab researching autism in children (~240 hours)

8. Shadowing: 52 hours
20 hours- Neurologist
4 hours- Dermatologist
28 hours- Primary Care

9. Non-Clinical Volunteering:
Meals on Wheels (~60 hrs)
Another 60 hours doing a bunch of other volunteering events (e.g. Petco adoption days, Relay for Life, Toys for Joy, Fire Department Pancake Day, Citizens Who Care, food bank)

10. Extracurricular:
Involved in American Red Cross Club and Pre-health fraternity
Hobbies: badminton, volleyball, martial arts

11. Relevant honors:
Second division all-league for volleyball
Second division all-league for badminton
Most improved award for high school
Dean's honors list for three quarters

Here's where I've applied so far:

University of California, Davis, School of Medicine
California Northstate University College of Medicine
University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine
Morehouse School of Medicine
University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences
University of Washington School of Medicine
Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science
Eastern Virginia Medical School
Medical College of Wisconsin
West Virginia University School of Medicine
Loma Linda University School of Medicine
Michigan State University College of Human Medicine
Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine
Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine (MI)
Albany Medical College (NY)
New York Medical College
Wake Forest School of Medicine of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center
Tufts University School of Medicine
Robert Larner, M.D., College of Medicine at the University of Vermont
Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University (CT)
Meharry Medical College (TN)
Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth
Tulane University School of Medicine
Howard University College of Medicine (Washington, DC)
Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine
Georgetown University School of Medicine
California University of Science and Medicine -- School of Medicine
Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine
University of California, Riverside, School of Medicine

You need DO schools on your list and you should remove the HBCs unless some of the volunteering you have listed is specifically with underserved and/or black communities. Your chances with MD schools are probably a bit low.

U Washington, Hawaii, North Dakota, Michigan State, West Virginia accept very few non residents with your stats and no connection to the state so skip the secondaries. Unless you are African American or have a history of service to the African American community you can also decline to send secondaries to Meharry, Morehouse and Howard. Dartmouth, Tufts and Tulane are far reaches. You could add these schools:
Seton Hall
NOVA MD
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
George Washington
Creighton
TCU-UNT
With your GPA and MCAT you should also apply to at least 8 DO schools.

Here is a more realistic list:
Drexel (maybe)
Temple (maybe)
Jefferson (maybe)
Wake
Tulane
GWU
Albany
Nova MD
VCU
Wayne State (maybe)
Netter (maybe)
EVMS
U Toledo
Seton Hall
Rosy Franklin
Loma Linda (only if you are SDA or a very devout Christian)
Loyola
WVU
U VM
Rush
MCW
Creighton
Oakland-B
Uniformed Services University/Hebert (just be aware of the military service commitment)
Gtown
UCD
UCI
UCR IF you're from the Inland Empire
Any DO school. I can't recommend Touro-NY, Nova, Wm Carey, LUCOM, for different reasons. MSUCOM? Read up on Larry Nasser and you decide. LMU has an accreditation warning, which concerns me. CalHS is too new and has a too small a rotations base, it seems.
