Need to decide which 2 NBMEs to take

I have time to take 2 NBMEs and was wondering which 2 I should take? I've read a lot of the threads and found 6 & 7 to be the most popular ones? Thanks for the feedback in advance.

Definitely do form 7, i am not sure about 11 or 12 because they are new. When i took Step1, form 7 score was closest . Good Luck!!

I took 6, 7, and 11.

6 and 7 had some similarities even though I had a wide score difference between them. 11 seemed to move in an entirely different direction but I still got around the same score. There seemed to be more micro, anatomy, and immuno on 11 too. A little less Biochem than the other ones. I would take one older(5-7) and one newer(11 or 12)to get an idea and to be safe. Then I remembered hearing those things trend towards what they feel we should know, so be sure to at least do one of the newer ones.

if you only have two, definitely do not waste one on 6........for sure include 7, and i'd pick either 11 or 12. Take them towards the end of your studies when you've gone over most if not allof the material to get the best prediction.

I vote 7 and 11 if you're only going to do two. 7 I thought was most representative of the style of question, and 11 covered more subjects like immuno and micro which are supposedly being put more of on the real deal.
