Hello!

To start i'm just (innocently) looking for advice, don't wreck me on here if this is a bad idea, please. Back when I submitted my primary, my work/activities included a conference I had some first-author research accepted to, but shortly after submitting it was cancelled due to COVID, but now it's back (virtually). As far as my schools know, I already presented, but since then I have been accepted to another national conference which will include a publication in their associated journal. I don't plan on mentioning the pub until I can actually show it, but I did mention the other conferences in an update letter I sent out to most of my schools a couple weeks ago.

So, I wanted to send a pdf of the poster I finally made for this first conference as well as the others as a second update, specifically to my #1 dream school because I was actually employed by them when I did the research. I didn't go to their undergrad, but I grew up literally a mile from their campus so I'm really trying to highlight my ties with them. I'll include like a presenter pamphlet or something to prove everything, if it's necessary. The poster has their shiny logo in the top left, but up until this point I feel like I haven't really had anything material to show for my research so I feel like it's meaningful, and frankly, it's a new development for me and I'm super proud of the work... Good idea? Thanks in advance!

Submit as many updates as they will accept if they make you happy, but DO NOT send copies of your work. They have zero interest in these, and would never have the time to sift through them if everyone did it. It's very likely they won't care about stuff like this, but they certainly do not require evidence that you are not lying about a poster.
