I have a question and I need an honest opinion,

Is it possible for someone with very high myopia to become a successful dentist, I have high myopia but I can see like anyone else with my contacts, I have been accepted in top dental schools but I am afraid that I will not perform well since I have high myopia, Please answer me if you are a dentist or 3rd or 4th year dental student,

Thanks

As long as when it is corrected (via glasses or contacts), you can perform dentistry up to the standard of care, you will be fine. Not all dentists have 20/20 or better (I am far from it).

Lasik if you're really worried? I feel like a lot of dental students are probably nearly-blind from the studying and already wear contacts.

Besides... even if someone isn't myopic yet, they'll probably develop myopia from the staring-at-tiny-details-on-teeth-all-day thing that I hear dentists like to do ;-)
