ecdoesit, you've got a heart of gold, but sometimes you take people a little too seriously 😉

Gee, thank goodness someone here understands goofing off and stop being so serious all the time.

But in seriousness, the "ASDOH" interview feedback has been removed from SDN because some of the comments had nothing to do with the program/interview process. One of the last postings, which viewed the school's having "too many Mormon students" as a huge negative, was probably the last straw.

It's a shame that some people took that anonymous venue as a way to make spiteful comments directed directly at people, or groups of people. There WAS good (both positive AND negative) feedback associated with Arizona there, and now future applicants don't have the luxury of browsing it.

I personally feel that all applicants have the right to read the good and bad stuff that's written--but the slanderous insults listed in that feedback (making fun of ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, etc.) were atrocious and embarrasing.

Instead of taking away the whole interview feedback section for Arizona, only the obvious immature ones (i.e. the mormon one) should have been removed. This is such a horrible thing for SDN/Arizona to do. Many pre-dents, including myself used the interview feedbacks as a top resource when it came to our first interviews, and just because Arizona either did not like the negative feedback, or did not like their questions been posted is an indication of its inability of taking constructive criticism and allowing students to evaluate their process....

there is something called tough love and just accepting what others will say....

I had a lot of respect for Arizona despite the negative feedback it was getting, but actions like this make me glad that I got rejected.

Heck, pre-dents using the interview feedback? Even I browsed through them before I went on my post-grad interviews, just to get a feel for what people think of the schools.

They're a great idea, although I haven't been following closely what the Arizona ones said except that they caused a big uproar in the pre-dent forum.

Exactly who spear-headed this removal? Was it a SDN moderator, or someone from Arizona? I dont understand why every single feedback had to be removed? Couldnt you just delete the inappropriate ones?

My opinion, since there were some legit negative feedback (that had no inappropriate content), I doubt anyone from ASDOH will be lobbying for these entries to comeback. Whats next? All of UF's entries will be gone because they have more negative feedback than positive? Sounds like extreme censorship to me.

Why did any of it had to be removed? If someone decided to uses the feedback, I am sure they would be able make judgments on their own as to what is relevant and what is ridiculous, like too many Mormons. I think one of the reasons why it has received some of these dumb and bogus feedbacks is because so much attention has been drawn to Arizona. Too much complaining about the negative feedbacks cause the hijacking of it by people who wish to make a joke. Just what I think.

SDN has TOS that people must abide by. Just because interview feedback is anonymous, doesn't mean the TOS fall by the wayside.

I agree that only the harmful listings should have been pulled, but perhaps that wasn't possible for some reason.

Dentaldream, this had nothing to do with positive or negative feedback--it had to do with explicit violation of SDN terms of service. Like I said, commenting on sexual orientation, religion, and ethnicity. None of those topics have anything to do with feedback. Such violations don't go unacknoweldged here on the boards, so why should they run amuck on the interview feedback, which is anonymous nonetheless.

I absolutely agree with deleting the inappropriate feedback. But I just dont understand deleting the other positive and negative feedback that were legit.

I agree, seems pretty stuipid to delete every feedback. Another incident like this one that reeks of censorship is not what AZ needs after recent events.

With regards to the offending poster, I don't see why listing "too many Mormons" as a drawback is so bad. It's not an attack or even a comment on Mormonism, just one interviewee's opinion on attending a school where he might not enjoy his classmates. I hear people all the time complain about too many Asians at Berkeley. Obviously some people are put off by this, some are attracted to it, and some are indifferent. But having that information at your disposal is useful, regardless of your stance.

Imagine if someone said that some school sucks because theres too many Jews that attend there. Seems pretty offensive to me.

It would of been wiser if the person stated the student body at 'Zona didnt represent their lifestyle, and would have felt out of place.

I stand corrected; when you put it in that light I can see where the problem lies.

I agree, there are ways the person could have said their bit without the offensiveness.

What happened? Who did it? I think a mistake has been made. Somebody owns us an apology. Could that be SDN or ASDOH? This is scandalous!!!!!!!

I agree with you 100%, and I don't understand it either.
