NEOMED doesn't accept Letters of Rec?

I was looking at NEOMED's application info on their website and was confused by this. I would fall under the "Traditional Pathway" as I will be applying after my undergrad degree, and at the bottom it states "Letters of evaluation are neither required nor accepted for this program." Am I reading that right? You can't send rec letters?
